Magazine Design April 9, 2024
As part of my coursework at Algonquin College, I had the exciting opportunity to design a magazine using Adobe InDesign. The project allowed us to incorporate our own images, and I decided to make it personal by featuring my friend, Dr. Anmar Salman—a Family Physician and co-owner of Novel Health. The magazine, titled *Off the Cuff*, highlights his unique passion for fashion, blending his professional background with his style, and it was a truly enjoyable creative experience.
Typography Poster March 25, 2024
During my time at Algonquin College, this poster proved to be one of my most unique projects. This project is stands out as it was made completely with “text,” with no access to other tools and no usage of the pen tool. It is even more complex and unusual because there are no colours, and each text was positioned Independently. This poster, pays tribute to Lord Shiva during Mahashivratri, a major Indian festival, displays originality and creativity even in the face of strict design guidelines. You may see my name “Rudraksha” which stands for Lord Shiva, if you scan the image.

Endangered Species in Madhya Pradesh, India 2019 by National Tiger Authority. (Infographic Poster) May 27, 2024
The goal of this infographic poster was to present intricate information in an accessible and engaging way. It focuses on endangered species in Madhya Pradesh, utilizing verified data approved by the Government of India. I dedicated 8 hours to meticulously hand-drawing each animal, resulting in a poster with over 5,000 layers. Despite many layers being hidden, each was crucial to the final design. The poster received high praise and was recognized as the best in class, earning commendation from my professor, Jessica Jackson.
In addition to the poster, I was tasked with creating a one-minute motion graphics video using Adobe After Effects. This video leveraged the same assets as the poster to provide an animated explanation of the content. The motion graphics aimed to visually narrate the information, making the complex data about endangered species even more engaging and accessible. The video served to complement the poster by offering a dynamic representation of the key points, further enhancing the overall impact of the project.
Personal Branding (Gif, Billboard, Leaderboard, logo, Business card, postcard mailer) April 15, 2024
During a project at Algonquin College, I focused on creating a comprehensive set of personal branding assets. This involved designing a GIF using Adobe Photoshop, which added a dynamic element to my branding. Additionally, I developed a range of print materials, including a billboard, a leaderboard, a postcard mailer, and a business card, all crafted with Adobe Illustrator. Each asset was meticulously designed to align with Canadian standards for dimensions and ratios, ensuring consistency and professionalism across different formats. This project provided a rich experience in producing cohesive and unique branding materials while adhering to industry-specific guidelines.
Burger recipe (Infographic Poster) July 21, 2024
This is an infographic poster I created for practice using Adobe Illustrator. It features a 3D illustration of a burger that visually breaks down the process of how a burger is prepared, highlighting each ingredient with accompanying details. The project helped me refine my skills in 3D illustration and creating informative graphics.

Irish Ship Wreck Online (website redesign)
Software used: Figma March 22, 2024 (Individual Project)
During my time at Algonquin College, I worked on a project where I had to redesign an outdated website. The assignment included coming up with a new logo and finding colours that would go well with the website's theme. It was a different experience because the first website was improperly designed and crowded with content. This project made me aware of how important colour selection is, as it has a big impact on the website overall. In today's world, 80% of websites are visited on mobile devices. I also learned the value of designing the mobile screen first.

Vegetarian Restaurant
Software used: Figma April 19, 2024 (Group Project)
I worked on a group project with my teammates to craft a website for a vegetarian restaurant. We had to carefully assess a number of important elements, like branding, understanding the client requirement, audience who will visit the restaurant, demographics, personas, psychology, user research, colours, typography, etc. In this project, my contribution was to create wireframes and Prototypes for both mobile and desktop. This project provided me with valuable experience of collaborating with like-minded people and new learning from my teammates, which improved my understanding for UI design.

Maple Brook Library
Software used: Photoshop March 11, 2024 (Individual Project)
I worked on a unique project called "Maple Brook Library" in which, instead of using the standard tool Figma to design a website, we were asked to create the complete design using Photoshop. This experience offered me to learn new functionalities of the tool and gain a new perspective towards web designing. The project proved that, in the absence of Figma, Photoshop is a strong application for website designing.
Flower Shop
Software used: Figma February 15, 2024 (Individual Project)
This was a special project in which I designed a website prototype for a flower shop, my first website design ever. I was originally intimidated by Figma because I had just recently learned how to use it, but eventually I learned to enjoy the process. I also learned how to design components in Figma, which allowed me to make changes to components that were automatically updated across the frame, which I felt was really cool.
