What to wear to your shoot, without the stress

You do not need new clothes. You need a few simple rules that make everyone in the frame look like the most relaxed version of themselves.

Pick a palette, not a costume

Choose two or three colours that live happily together and build outfits from them. Soft, muted and earthy tones photograph beautifully and never date.

Texture beats logos

Linen, knit, denim and wool add depth on camera. Big logos and busy prints pull the eye away from your face.

Dress for the place and the season

Flowing fabrics suit open parks and golden light. Sharper tailoring suits the city and the studio. Match the clothes to where we are standing.

Fit beats trend

Something that fits well always looks better than something fashionable that does not. Tailor the one piece that matters.

Bring options

A backup top, a layer, and a second pair of shoes give us range without a wardrobe marathon.

Keep one detail that is you

A favourite jacket, a piece of jewellery, a colour you love. The photos should look like you on a great day, not a stranger.

Wear what makes you stand a little taller. Confidence is the best thing you can put on.
